Q. Where are Bijou Wear carriers, mugs, bags, and shirts made?

A. The USA. Everything you can buy in the shop is USA-made, with the exception of the Canadian-made cleaning products we offer. 

Q. Do you accept PayPal, too, in addition to credit cards?

A. Yes!

Q. I want to be sure to be able to check out quickly to get the item I've been dreaming of as soon as it stocks on BijouWear.com ... any suggestions?

A. Log in to PayPal ahead of time, if that's how you're paying. Also, you can make an account on Bijou Wear so that your information is already stored (safe and secure) in the system. Look for "Log In" in the menu. Or, same difference, you can just click here to register an account.

Q. How do I find out about what's in the works and when new things will be released?

A. You can "like" our Facebook page, but that sneaky Facebook algorithm might hide posts you want to see from your timeline. So also join our Bijou Wear chatter group Bijou Buzz to hang out with other babywearers, see sneak peaks, and learn the latest news.

Also, @BijouBabywearing on Instagram is a fun place to see past, present, and future product shots!

Q. I am not from the U.S. ... what should I know about buying from Bijou?

International shipments go out first class or priority mail and are fully insured. If this does not work in your country, please email contact@bijouwear.com before the purchase. 

Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying. DutyCalculator.com is an excellent resource, too. 

Q. Do you do returns?

A. Yes, if it is within 30 days of purchase of a non-sale item, if the item is unwashed, unused, and still has its original packaging, and if the buyer pays for return shipping. In case of other situations, please contact us. We value our customers and want to find a solution if possible. 

Q. Can I arrange for local pickup to save on shipping?

A. Yes, if you make arrangements PRIOR to purchasing and you can pick up in a timely manner in Kansas, USA. We are a military family, so that local pickup address will change frequently : )

Q. This is not exactly the color I was expecting ...

A. Yikes! So sorry! Every effort is made to ensure that product photography captures the colors in real life. However, fabric can look different under different lighting, so try looking at the product in natural light. Also, please be aware that different screens affect how colors are seen, sometimes radically. 

Q. What is going on with this huge warning tag?

A. All woven wraps and ring slings will be required to have a similarly large tag according to the U.S. safety standard that is expected to be passed governing the industry in 2016. At Bijou Wear, every effort has been made to be compliant with these proposed regulations. Our baby carriers do not go out the door unless they have undergone rigorous third-party testing and meet or exceed U.S. standards. The regulations are not yet mandatory, but Bijou goes to the extra effort and expense to test to the standard. The large "Warning!" tags are part of this effort.
